LuckyCharm has no advertising, behavioral analytics, or account requirement during free access. This policy explains the limited data used for licensing.

Information stored on your device

Your selected charm, position, size, cord appearance, sound settings, and other preferences are stored locally. A random installation identifier and signed licensing-policy token are also stored locally. If activation is required, the license key and signed activation token are protected using the operating system’s secure storage.

Information sent to LuckyCharm

The app contacts the LuckyCharm activation service to obtain a signed licensing policy. It sends a random installation identifier and platform. When a license is activated or renewed, it also sends the license key, device name, app version, and platform. The service stores a cryptographic hash of the license key and installation identifier, along with the device name, platform, app version, activation dates, license status, plan, device limit, and customer email associated with an issued license.

Purpose and sharing

This information is used only to determine whether activation is required, validate licenses, enforce device limits, prevent abuse, and provide support. LuckyCharm does not sell this information or use it for advertising. Microsoft Azure processes and stores the activation records as the hosting provider.

Retention and your choices

Local preferences can be removed by uninstalling LuckyCharm and deleting its local application data. When activation is enabled, the License menu can deactivate the current device. To request access, correction, or deletion of server-side license information, contact support with the email associated with the license. Security and fraud-prevention records may be retained where reasonably necessary.

Children and changes

LuckyCharm is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
